Yoga is Practical

Yoga as a choice of sport is quite practical. Anybody can do yoga; young and old alike, thin or heavy, women and men. No special equipment needed—just a small space and a mat.

Sculpt muscles.

Yoga uses the weight of your own body to build mass and strength. Yoga allows you to get the same muscle-building benefits by performing long, extended pushups, squats, and leg lifts. The results are well-worked muscle groups, which get stronger with each class.

Stretch and contract.

Yoga poses help stretching and tightening muscles at the same time.

Most series of yoga asanas (physical postures) also include one or more spinal twists to loosen the many joints that make up your spine.

Calms your mind.

In the midst of a busy schedule, committing to the relaxed space of a yoga class might be a wise way to slow down and breathe right.

Helps you Concentrate .

Regular yoga practice will slowly teach people to look deeper in to their own body, focus on certain stretches, and concentrate on the whole overall body, poses, and breath.

   why yoga ?

why Iyengar Yoga ?

Iyengar yoga greatly focuses on precision and alignment in the execution of the postures (asanas).

It teaches a practitioner to reach a balanced body and postural alignment.

Iyengar Yoga is characterized by three key elements which are techniques, sequencing, and timing. A typical Iyengar yoga trains students to hold the poses longer and it results in forming stronger muscles.

Iyengar Yoga is not hot yoga.

Our body produces its own internal heat when we exercise, and we are capable in doing so in any room or outside temperature without the heater turned up.
